Here’s the results from this week’s edition of NXT:
CANDICE LERAE & INDI HARTWELL were ringside with Austin Theory as Johnny Gargano lost a non-title match to Dexter Lumis. Cracks seemed to be forming in The Way was Hartwell remakred that Lumis was ‘kind of hot’.
MCKENZIE MITCHELL handled interview duties.
NXT Women’s Champion IO SHIRAI defeated ZOEY STARK with the Moonsault. After the match TONI STORM badmouthed Shirai and taunted her into giving her a title match.
XIA LI w/h MEI YING & Boa defeated KACY CATANZARO w/h KAYDEN CARTER by referee stoppage. Li had hit Catanzaro with a stomp to the leg with Catanzaro’s leg hung on the ring steps. When Carter tried to confront Ying, Li took out Catanzaro again with a Head Kick, and then vowed that Carter would be next.
A video package hyped up the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match for next week of Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defending against Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez.
SCARLETT was ringside as her man Karrion Kross won over Santos Escobar.
