Welcome one and all to the RAW RECAP presented by THE REVELLEUTION!
It’s the final show of 2025 and we’re getting a Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Championship as reigning Champ Stephanie Vaquer defends against title rivals Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez. Will La Primera defy the odds or will the chaos of the three-way match lead to an upset title change? And what’s next for the Women’s IC and Tag Team titles? Let’s get into it, and find out…
This week’s ‘Arrived Earlier Today’ videos included Women’s World Champion STEPHANIE VAQUER.
JACKIE REDMOND interviewed RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ about tonight’s three-way match. Rodriguez started to claim that nothing was going to stop her, before fellow Judgement Day member LIV MORGAN interrupted. Buttering up Rodriguez and saying that with two of the men in the group out injured, Rodriguez needed to handle business, which she said she would. Rodriguez told Morgan that she didn’t want any help out in the match tonight, and when ROXANNE PEREZ‘s name was mentioned by Morgan to try and sway Rodriguez, she showed up too. When Perez wished Rodriguez good luck, that remark was coldly brushed off before Rodriguez left and Morgan seemingly smirked at her ally’s attitude.
Triple Threat Match – Women’s World Championship Match
Women’s World Champion STEPHANIE VAQUER defeated NIKKI BELLA & RAQUEL RODRIGUEZ to retain.
Bella took advantage of Rodriguez and Vaquer mouthing off to pie-face both before she hit a Nikkisawa Elbow on Vaquer. Bella got soon shoved down by Rodriguez, before Vaquer shoved Rodriguez into Bella for an unintended assist for a Shoulder Knockdown. Vaquer got her 120% Roll-up for a near fall on Rodriguez. Bella denied Devil’s Kiss with another big Elbow shot. The action went to the floor as Bella hit a Running Dropkick on Rodriguez that was intended for Vaquer, but would still send Vaquer into the crowd barricade. Rodriguez got sent into the ring steps.
Back in the ring, Bella drove Vaquer into the ring corners head-first but took too much time climbing the ropes as Rodriguez got in to haul her down. Rodriguez hit a Body Slam on Bella and soon after hit Shoulder Thrusts to Vaquer in a corner, nailed Corner Clotheslines to both opponents in opposite corners then Diesel Back Elbows to Vaquer. It barely got a one count. Vaquer tried fighting back with a couple of Headbutts but was shut down with a Shoulder Knockdown. After a rest hold, an Elbow Drop got Rodriguez a two count.
Bella tried to hit a Crossbody off the top onto both opponents, but Vaquer moved and Rodriguez’s power blocked before she hit a Fallaway Slam on Bella. Rodriguez locked on a Gory Special on Vaquer but when Vaquer escaped, she was shut down yet again by a Shoulder Knockdown and Rodriguez locked on the hold again. The spot was turned into a grounded pin, then elevated by Rodriguez’s power before Vaquer escaped with a cascading Sunset Flip but Bella broke up the pin with a kick.
Vaquer tried for Devil’s Kiss on Bella but Rodriguez broke it up with a kick to Vaquer before she dumped Bella out. Moments later, Bella would avoid a boot through the ropes by Rodriguez and yanked the leg on the middle rope, setting her up for Vaquer to hit a Crossbody off the top. Bella tossed Vaquer into the ring post and then, much to the crowd’s anger, locked in an STF on Rodriguez. Rodriguez would counter and apply a Heel Hook, but with that hold still applied Vaquer captured Rodriguez’s head and nailed Devil’s Kiss for a round of nine.
Vaquer hit the Running Corner Meteora to Rodriguez in one corner then the Rope-aided Dragon Screw to Bella in an opposite one, giving Rodriguez one too soon after. Not long after, Rodriguez from in the ring would try and goozle both opponents but when they escaped, she decked Vaquer with a Clothesline then hit Bella with the Rewind Clothesline. Rodriguez dumped Bella onto the announce desk with Snake Eyes and got a near fall on Vaquer in the ring. Vaquer tried to fight back with strikes, only to be decked with a Clothesline by Rodriguez for a two count. Rodriguez went outside and dumped Bella onto the ring apron with another Snake Eyes, sending her into the ring and shutting down a comeback with a rough Shoulder Knockdown. Rodriguez hit the Vader Bomb Elbow on Bella for a near fall.
Rodriguez hit a few more Diesel Elbows to Vaquer in one corner but when she set up Vaquer up top in a different corner, Vaquer countered with the Suzuki Arm Bar over the ropes. Bella pounced with a Dropkick along the apron that sent Vaquer swinging into the ring post. It led to a unique way of doing the Tower of Doom spot as Bella did a Sunset Flip into the Powerbomb as Rodriguez hit the Superplex on Vaquer. Bella got a near fall on each opponent from it. A Big Boot from Rodriguez meant for Bella decked Vaquer instead, and Bella got a two count from a Roll-up on Rodriguez. Bella tried for the Mickie James Headscissors out of a corner, but Rodriguez’s power blocked it. Bella managed to escape an attempted Alley Oop spot but botched her Disaster Kick on Rodriguez who sold it anyway. Vaquer hit SVB 2.0 on Bella but Rodriguez broke up the pin.
Vaquer hit a Chinbuster then a Superkick to Rodriguez then moments later countered being Suplexed with a Small Package for a near fall. After a short Clothesline, Rodriguez went for the Vader Bomb Elbow on Vaquer but this time Bella pulled Vaquer out so Rodriguez only hit the mat. Bella got a two count from a Crucifix Pin. Rodriguez would attempt for a Double Tijana Bomb on both women, scooping Bella from the corner after she’d already lifted up Vaquer. Vaquer would escape the grip so Rodriguez hit the Bomb on Bella, but left herself open as Vaquer used a Roll-up grip to dump Rodriguez out. Pouncing on Bella being down and out to smartly capitalise on Rodriguez’s work to score the pin on Bella and retain the Championship!
Women’s Tag Team Champions ASUKA and KAIRI SANE, The Kabuki Warriors, went to the ring for a promo. Asuka bragged about her victory over Rhea Ripley last week. Ranting in her native tongue and calling the fans stupid babies. When Sane tried to talk, Asuka shut her down with a yell of ‘KAIRI’ and Asuka ranted about their rivals paying for disrespect.
RHEA RIPLEY and IYO SKY interrupted, storming the ring but the Warriors bailed. Only for the brawl to go to the outside first before Ripley nailed a Superkick on Asuka in the ring. Sane drove Sky into the announce desk as Sky sold her still hurt back like she’d been shot. Asuka was tossed into the Timekeeper’s area before the Warriors worked over Ripley in and out of the ring. The Warriors tried for their Double-Team finish on Ripley but Sky returned and shoved Sane off the top before she hit a Lucha Kick to Asuka, setting up Ripley’s counter Kick from the mat. Sane would escape a Riptide attempt but both Warriors ate Sliding Kicks from Rhiyo. The Faces would hold the ring as the Heels clutched their titles on the floor to end the segment.
IVY NILE and The Creed Brothers would be seen in the background as Los Americanos confronted Je’Von Evans backstage.
Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley had a hype video. Ripley mocked Asuka for being delusional and said she hid behind Sane, calling her the disrespectful one. She vowed to break Asuka next. Sky said it was too late for Sane and she’d picked the wrong path. Sky promised to crown new tag champs next week.
Women’s IC Champion MAXXINE DUPRI went to the ring for a promo. She sucked up to the fans and got the expected ‘You Deserve It’ chant. Dupri mocked Lynch’s conspiracy theories but soon BECKY LYNCH interrupted. Lynch went full-on with the lies about last week and mocked the crowd. Dupri threatened to break Lynch’s ankle if she made a false move. Lynch lost the crowd, trying to get over her delusional gimmick. Dupri cut her off and said she’d taken the spotlight. Lynch got things back with a good line about Dupri’s four weeks of training not measuring up to her lifetime of work before she rattled off her accomplishments. Lynch threatened to expose Dupri as ‘what I know you are’ and stormed off while Dupri held the ring defiantly.
BAYLEY and LYRA VALKYRIA stormed into Adam Pearce’s office as Valkyria played ‘good cop’ and said they should be considered for a tag title shot. When Pearce said Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez were in line, Bayley in her angry mode ranted that she beat Perez last week and called Pearce an Idiot. Bayley stormed off after the insults as Valkyria weakly thanked Pearce for considering them as potential contenders.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
A great Triple Threat Match that got a very welcome long amount of time for the bout. Bella’s shortcomings were nicely managed in the match, even with a few missteps here and there, and the finish could still leave the door open for another clash against Rodriguez in the future. Obviously, Royal Rumble season is soon on the way and that will grab the most attention so we’ll see what lies in store in 2026. Lynch yet again lost the crowd in her promo with Dupri at the start with her conspiracy theory character but got the fans back into it with her fired-up rant, while Dupri easily held the fans’ interest. Will it be a clean match next week, or will we yet again see AJ Lee pop up to ruin Lynch’s life? Lastly, the brawl with Rhiyo and the Warriors was solid enough for build into next week. We’ll see if they pull the trigger for a title change or not for the new year.
That’s your lot for this week! Be sure to stop by in seven days’ time for the next edition of the RAW RECAP! See you in 2026!
