The Hottest party of the Summer is finally here with not one but two nights of action as the men and women of WWE look to put on a Summer Blockbuster to remember.
In Night 1 of SummerSlam Jade Cargill looks to put an end to Tiffy Time and claim the WWE Women’s Championship to usher in a new era on SmackDown. Will Tiffany once again put down another fiery foe or is Tiffy Time running out?
Elsewhere the bond between The Judgement Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez looks to be getting stronger from week to week and later tonight they face the ultimate test as they go toe to toe with two of WWE’s very best…Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Will the Allies of convenience prove to be something more or will the Judgement Day once again hush the naysayers.
With reputation and championship gold all at Stake on Just Night 1 of SummerSlam, it’s time to weigh in with our PPV Predictions.

Elle: I’m so loving this rejuvenated version of Raquel Rodriguez and I actually think she pairs really well with a side of Roxanne Perez and hey even Dominik Mysterio (even if he is screwing things up at times). I’ve also quite enjoyed the pairing of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte who have somehow made this team all of their own. Part of me feels that because WWE have paired these two legends up, how can they fail? But bare in mind these are allies of convenience and not the faction that the Judgement Day is. What better way to cement the fresh pairing of Raquel and Roxanne than by having them go over two of WWE’s biggest stars? Prediction: Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez.
Adam: With The Judgement Day busy with storylines on both brands (with battles against Kabuki Warriors on Raw) it’s rather felt like this match hasn’t had the importance it should have. Especially with the dream team of Bliss and Flair that’s allowed Flair to show a different side to her than usual. Regardless, with the talent here this will be a fine bout but I have a feeling that The Judgement Day’s numbers as champs will run out. Perhaps setting up things for a fallout between Perez and Rodriguez ahead of Liv Morgan’s eventual return. Prediction: Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair

Elle: Whilst this match was always set to go ahead, boy has the outlook changed since Naomi shocked the world at cashed in at Evolution. I was certain Naomi would ruin Jade Cargill’s night and leave SummerSlam as the WWE Women’s Champion, but with no gold to gain will Naomi stay out of sight and mind? I’m not going to beat around the bush, I feel like we need something new when it comes to the WWE Women’s Championship picture and I feel like we also need something new when it comes to Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany is great inside the ring but this character needs some refining and we need to focus on where her brand lies be it heel or face. Jade Cargill would bring a fresh scope to the WWE Women’s Championship and there are several dream matches just waiting to happen and why not have the WWE Women’s Championship be a part of those matches. Whatever happens tonight, I just hope we get some changes. Prediction: Jade Cargill.
Adam: The complexion of this match has changed now that Naomi’s cash-in was used at Evolution. So it’s a classic case of Irresistible Force versus Immovable Object with Cargill who has rarely lost at all against Stratton who is the new golden child of the company. I worry about if Cargill can deliver a major singles match against Stratton who isn’t as experienced as Cargill’s Queen of the Ring opponent Asuka to help carry the load. Hopefully, I’m proved wrong on that front. As far as a winner goes, it’s tough to call but my gut says that Stratton’s run on top isn’t quite finished with yet. Prediction: Tiffany Stratton
