Hey and welcome back to the revelleution and some rather awesome WWE 2K22 news as earlier today WWE and 2K revealed the official lineup for this year’s DLC which features 7 additional female superstars.
Earlier today 2K revealed that starting from April 26th, DLC content for WWE 2K22 will begin to roll out with 5 awesome packs spanning the next four months. The packs which will conclude on July 19th feature a range of WWE Superstars both past and present including WWE Hall of Famers and Legends as well as fresh new faces and folks never seen in a WWE 2K Title before.

The First pack by the name of Banzai will launch on April 26th with Yokozuna appearing as the headline DLC superstar with Umaga, Rikishi, Omos and Kacy Catanzaro joining the game alongside him. This marks Kacy Catanzaro’s WWE 2K video game debut where she joins the likes of fellow NXT Superstar Kay Lee Ray.
The second DLC pack to be released will be the Most Wanted Pack on May 17th, which as the name suggests is headlined by Cactus Jack. Joining Mick Foley are a range of superstars including The Boogeyman, Vader, Ilja Dragunov and Ms Lumis herself Indi Hartwell. This also marks Indi’s WWE 2K debut as she joins her former Way stable members Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Ausin Theory.
The third pack in the pipeline is the Stand Back pack which will launch on June7th and will be headlined by, you guessed it the Hurricane. Joining the Hurricane is his former sidekick Stacy Keibler as well as NXT UK fan favourite A-Kid as well as Wes Lee and Nash Carter of MSK. This marks Stacy Keiblers WWE 2K Video game debut, although she has previously appeared in the SmackDown Vs Raw series with SVR 06 being her last appearance.
The 4th pack and quite frankly the most random pack to be released is the Clowning Around Pack which launches on June 28th with Doink the Clown making his return to the series.
Alongside Doink will be Ronda Rousey who also makes her return as well as The British Bulldog, Mr T, Doudrop and Rick Boogs. Unlike Ronda this will be Doudrops video game debut and I can’t wait to see which variation we have of the former NXT UK superstar.
And finally the 5th and final DLC pack titled the Whole Dam Show will be released on July 19th with Rob Van Dam headlining the pack. RVD will enter WWE 2K22 along with Logan Paul, Machine Gun Kelly, LA Knight, Xia Li, Commander Azeez and last and by certainly no means least Sarray. If all the WWE 2K fresh faces weren’t enough this also marks the WWE 2K series debut of both Xia Li and Sarray who I can’t wait to kick some ass with.
So that means by the end of July our DLC women will consist of Kacy Catanzaro, Indi Hartwell, Stacy Keibler, Ronda Rousey, Doudrop, Xia Li and Sarray.
As a huge fan of Stacy from back in the day I can’t wait to finally see her finally return to the WWE games series and I’m quite intrigued to see if we get a super stacy alternate seeing as she is included alongside the Hurricane.
Whilst it is a tad odd not to see Kacy’s partner Kayden thrown into the mix I will say I’m really excited to play as Kacy Catanzaro, especially when it comes to playing around with her moveset and what could be a rather cool entrance animation. Speaking of omissions I am a tad disappointed Zelina isn’t included in this list especially being a big fan of her work since returning to the company.
Seeing Indi thrown into the mix means we also have the entire Way faction so fingers crossed we get a unique stable entrance for the former Gargano family.
But that’s enough of what I think of today’s reveal I want to know what you at home make of the DLC news and which superstar you are most looking forward to playing as.
