WrestleMania is finally here, with not one but two nights of back to back Wrestling action and this year’s WrestleMania features not only the talented Women of Today, but returning legends lacing up their Chuck Taylors to prove they still have it.
After a Shock title win for Lash Legend and Nia Jax, the irresistible Forces look to retain their Championship gold as they defend against the Bella Twins, Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria. Will Lash & Nia prove they aren’t a Force to be reckoned with or will a new Team take up the charge at the top of the Women’s Tag Team Division?
Speaking of dominant forces, two of WWE’s most dominant superstars, Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill clash over Championship gold as Cargill defends the WWE Women’s Championship. Will Rhea prove why Mami is always on top or will Cargill continue to reign.
Elsewhere AJ Lee looks to silence Becky Lynch once and for all as she defends her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against The Man. Can AJ prove she still has what it takes to pull out a win at the Showcase of the Immortals or will Becky prove why she really is the Big Time.
Finally Liv Morgan looks to do the unthinkable and claim the Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer after claiming her Mania spot at this year’s Royal Rumble. Will Vaquer prove that Liv is nothing but trouble or will Liv end Vaquer’s reign before it reaches it’s full potential.
With Championship gold, grudges and so much more on the line, it’s time to weigh in with our WrestleMania 42 PPV Predictions.

Elle: If you had asked me a week ago, I would have said that Brie and Nikki were destined to become Champs this weekend, finally capturing the Women’s Tag Team Championships. With ongoing rumours circling that Nikki isn’t cleared for the match I can’t see WWE putting the belts on the Bellas, only to have to vacate them with Nikki unable to compete. So the question is who will leave with the gold? I wouldn’t be surprised to see Nia & Lash retain but I can’t help but feel like New Champions will be crowned seeing as this is Mania afterall. If I had to go with my gut, I think there’s a good chance Bayley and Lyra could close the loop on last Mania and finally be Tag Team Champions. Here’s hoping Lyra doesn’t get turned on a second year in a row post Mania. Prediction: Bayley & Lyra
Adam: It’s one of those matches where even with all the great talent involved, it could become a cluster-you-know-what if it’s a Too Many Cooks situation. I’m hoping that doesn’t happen. As for who wins? I don’t think it’s a given that The Bella Twins (if Nikki is cleared) will get their big comeback moment. I have a feeling that the WWE will allow Jax and Legend to leave as they entered, further building Legend ahead of what could be an even better breakout year than 2025 had already been. Prediction: Lash Legend & Nia Jax

Elle: It hasn’t been as full on a feud as I would have hoped but I still can’t get enough of both Lynch and Lee. Becky Lynch is always giving and has often granted her opponents a win at Mania so I wouldn’t be surprised if this match was any different. I will however say that AJ doesn’t really need the gold to have a line of opponents waiting to face off against the future Hall of Famer. With Becky on a losing streak against AJ, maybe it’s time to give the The Man a win on the grandest stage of them all? Prediction: Becky Lynch.
Adam: I’ve said it many times on the Raw Recap that this long, drawn-out feud between Lynch and Lee has been hurt massively by having a first match at Elimination Chamber rather than saving the Dream Match for ‘Mania to begin with. I’m sure this match will be just as good as the first one, but for me, it makes sense to end the fued once and for all by giving Lynch the win here after months of direct losses to Lee. I can only hope that the IC title gets moved on from Lynch after Mania perhaps to a new face on Raw or a new feud. Prediction: Becky Lynch

Elle: I’m really hoping for the best when it comes to this next match and I really hoping the pair shock the WWE Universe with a match to remember. Rhea Ripley has had several epic moments throughout her career and several Mania moments at that, so why not let Jade cement herself as the new top dog and knock Rhea Ripley down a peg or two. Sure Rhea could dominant on SmackDown as the new Champion, but we need more names built at the top that can alternate out between feuds. Prediction: Jade Cargill
Adam: There’s been solid build for this one with the involvement of B-Fab, Michin and Iyo Sky to hype things up. Cargill has been hit and miss with singles matches while Ripley can tend to work stiff sometimes when a loss is on the way. This could be one of those matches that on paper looks like solid gold, but either delivers or becomes a train wreck. As for a winner? I will lean slightly towards Jade Cargill who might be the one hurt the most with a loss here but this will be a match very close to call. Prediction: Jade Cargill

Elle: When this match up was first made, I won’t lie I wasn’t exactly enthusiastic but boy have Vaquer and Morgan moulded this into a must see match. From bitter brawls and sick burns on the mic, Stephanie and Liv have really made this feud their own and one of the most anticipated matches on the WrestleMania card. Like Jade Cargill I think a win for Vaquer would truly cement her place on not only the roster but as Champion. Liv Morgan is hugely popular as it is so a win isn’t necessarily needed but definitely deserved. If I had to go with my gut I think Liv might sneak out with the win with Raquel and Liv’s relationship breaking as we head into the Summer. A loss for Vaquer would also open up the path for Vaquer to hop on over to SmackDown as put on some bangers with the eclectic blue brand roster.
Adam: This has been a feud with huge brawls on a weekly basis for a rivalry more on bitterness and hatred than just envy over a title. There will be pressure on the two women to deliver after all the great build and I doubt this match will be a disappointment. The question is will they give Morgan a big win to build on her stock since return, or keep their bets on Vaquer and her matching popularity. I think that after the WWE gave Morgan a new theme and music video, the answer is pretty clear but it will by no means mark a souring on Vaquer who is going to be around for a long while to come. Prediction: Liv Morgan
