Over the Weekend at Slammiversary it was announced by TNA Hall of Famer Traci Brooks that the TNA Knockouts Division would be getting a brand new Championship, with the unveiling of the TNA Knockouts Television Championship.
Earlier today the brackets for the tournament were officially revealed featuring a mix of TNA Knockouts, WWE Superstars and Wildcards Gabby Forza and Vicki Venuto.
The 16 women competing in the first ever tournament are as follows: Indi Hartwell, Vicki Venuto, Harley Hudson, Thea Hail, Elayna Black, Wendy Choo, M by Elegance, Rosemary, Jada Stone, Alisha Edwards, Jody Threat, Gabby Forza, Mara Sadé, Tasha Steelz, Heather by Elegance and Allie.
The opening rounds for the tournament are set to begin this coming Thursday on iMPACT with Mara Sadé taking on Tasha Steelz and brand New Knockouts Tag Team Champion Allie taking on former Tag Champ Heather by Elegance.
