Stephanie Vaquer Wins Women’s World Championship at WWE Live Event in Chile

For the first time in many years, the WWE has had a new Champion crowned at a non-televised live event, and it saw the Women’s World Championship change hands.

Stephanie Vaquer, fresh from losing a World title match this past Monday on Raw, captured the Women’s World Championship for the second time at a live event in her homeland of Chile. She defeated rival Liv Morgan, who had defeated her for the gold at WrestleMania this year, in a match where Becky Lynch served as the Special Guest Referee.

Footage of the title change was captured ringside by the WWE and can be viewed below.

With the unexpected title swap, and the fact that Lynch got involved with the outcome, what will this mean for the World title situation? We’ll have to tune in to Raw this week and see what the aftermath is for the Women’s Division and the new Champion.
