WrestleMania season is here and what better way to kick things off than with the annual Royal Rumble, in what is bound to be a night full of fun, high flying drama and a whole can a whoop ass.
Later tonight 30 Women look to kick start a path straight to the Grandest stage of them all as they square off in the infamous Royal Rumble match. With every woman out for herself, old foes and friends returning and a night full of possibilities, who will make a name for themselves and get the opportunity of a lifetime to headline WrestleMania? It’s time for our Royal Rumble 2024 PPV Predictions:
Elle: I don’t know about you but there seems to be an air of change in the atmosphere and this year’s Rumble feels like anything and everything could happen. I don’t want to get too hyped but with few names declared for the event it feels like WWE could shake things up and throw in some unexpected faces. The Royal Rumble is a perfect storytelling tool to form alliances, start new rivalries and break up long time friends and factions so why not use that tool to it’s full extent. With that in mind and after recent tension between Damage CTRL I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bayley pick up the win before eventually facing off against former friend IYO at WrestleMania. Sometimes predictable isn’t a bad thing….Prediction: Bayley
Adam (TheInsanityInc): There’s been quite a low amount of Superstars who have actually declared to be a part of the match. That could be down to making things a surprise and building the element of the unknown, or a sign that the WWE only wants those who have stated they’ll be involved (Lynch, Jax, Bayley, Belair) as the clear favourites. That all being said, the WWE has seemingly made it clear that for many the woman to face at Mania will be Rhea Ripley. It doesn’t mean that it guarentees a Raw Superstar will win but unless there’s a big change in plans, the World Women’s Championship will be the one to go after. With that in mind, and given the teases that have been done in the past and not just from this past week, I think the WWE will be kind enough to give us a ‘dream match’ at Mania between The Man and Mami. Whether the WWE has the guts to deliver that match in full without any extras put in will be a different story.Prediction: Becky Lynch.
