Welcome one and all to the RAW RECAP presented by THE REVELLEUTION! Elimination Chamber is on the horizon with a loaded women’s match but looking like a certain outcome. Will any competitor seize an advantage heading into the dangerous match? And will Becky Lynch finally get her hands on new rival Shayna Baszler? Let’s get into it, and find out…
CHARLY CARUSO interviewed ZELINA VEGA and resident lady’s man Angel Garza who left Caruso seemingly smitten with a kiss to her hand. Garza would end up picking up the win over his rival and cousin in the following match over rival and cousin Humberto Carrillo.
SARAH SCHREIBER also handled interview duties on the show.
LANA was ringside as her man Bobby Lashley picked up an easy win over R-Truth.
Perv King hosted the Elimination Chamber contract signing with RUBY RIOTT, SARAH LOGAN and ASUKA at one table and NATALYA and LIV MORGAN at announcer. King claimed Baszler was in the building but was late or a no-show. So the other women signed, with Morgan standing up to glare at Riott when she signed. SHAYNA BASZLER eventually came out on her ‘own time’ to sign.
Things, of course, broke down. Asuka shoving Natalya and ranting at Baszler, daring her to ‘Bite me!’ before Natalya tackled her down. Liv Morgan then rushed and leapt over a table for a cool spot as she went after Riott. Before her former friend in the Riott Squad Logan pulled her off. BECKY LYNCH then arrived to start her own brawl against Baszler.
Charlotte Flair facing off with Bianca Belair on NXT this week was advertised.
FINAL THOUGHTS: I’m OK with there being no match this week as the mass brawl covered all the bases. Asuka feuding with Natalya. The issues between the former Riott Squad members. And of course Lynch against Baszler. All the boxes were ticked so it’s a win for me! And there’s still plenty time to hype up the Chamber match between now and then!
