Over the last few years TLC has become a Christmas tradition for WWE, with Superstars of both RAW and SmackDown putting their bodies on the line with the promise off a few days rest just in time for Christmas.
Later this evening four of WWE’s hottest female superstars right now could need much more time to recuperate than the rest as the Kabuki Warriors put their Tag Team Championships on the line against the RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and her frenemy Charlotte Flair. Will the Kabuki Warriors manage to leave TLC with both their bodies and Championship gold intact? It’s time for our WWE TLC PPV Predictions:
Women’s Tag Team Championships – TLC Match: The Kabuki Warriors Vs Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair
Elle: I have to say I’ve absolutely adored the rise of the Kabuki Warriors in recent months and they have quickly become one of my favourite tag teams in recent years alongside the likes of LayCool and Team B.A.D before them. Not only has their recent push brought Asuka back to the forefront after months of misuse, but it’s also helped Kairi Sane bring out a completely different side and I just can’t get enough. While I am a big fan of both Charlotte and Becky Lynch I think we can all agree that neither woman is in need of a tag team title reign just yet. Asuka and Kairi have elevated the Women’s Tag Championships to quite possibly the highest level so far, so a win over some of WWE’s biggest stars would not only legitimise the Kabuki Warriors as a team but also add even more notoriety to the championship gold. I have no doubt that this could quite possibly be the match of the night and I can’t wait to see what happens regardless of the outcome! Prediction: The Kabuki Warriors
Adam(TheInsanityInc): I’ve enjoyed the build for this match actually, with the idea of Flair and Lynch needing to be allies in the ‘enemy of my enemy is my friend’ storyline. It’s also really allowed Asuka and Sane to shine as dangerous heels which has been plenty of fun. In the end, I think the result is predictable. Perhaps setting a stage for Lynch’s title defence at Royal Rumble in the New Year. This match should be a wild one and I can’t wait to see what happens. Prediction: The Kabuki Warriors
