WWE Superstar Dana Brooke has been quietly removed from the Smackdown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania.
Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio stated that Brooke was pulled due to being in “quarantine” because of an unspecified illness. While Brooke is not said to have contracted Coronavirus the WWE isn’t taking any risks, so have removed her from the title match.
The match, despite only having five Superstars, is still being advertised as a Six Pack Elimination Challenge. With Bayley defending the Smackdown Women’s title against Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Tamina, and Naomi. It is unknown if the WWE will replace Brooke with another Superstar or leave the match as is.
