Earlier today 2K released the latest tease for WWE 2K26 with another glass puzzle piece unveiled teasing at various elements for this year’s game.
To be sure you don’t miss out on any of our upcoming content, be sure to check back as we break down 2K’s latest WWE 2K26 Teases.

So let’s not waste any time and dive right back in with some of our theories and predictions based off the teases on show.
Starting on the very far left we can see a slight portion of a poster which looks to be a poster of Stone Cold Steve Austin after scouring the internet. With Stone Cold being a constant feature in the WWE 2K Series I highly doubt it’s just confirming his appearance in this year’s game. The poster could be a possible hint at what looks to be a CM Punk Showcase for this year’s game with Stone Cold being a dream match opponent for Punk to many wrestling fans across the globe. If not who knows, maybe it could maybe be a tease for the attitude era edition that was revealed this past week.
Under the Stone Cold poster we see a trash can taking up a whole lot of space in the bottom corner. Like Stone Cold, Trash cans have also been in the 2K series for quite some time now, so I can’t say for 100% certain what it could mean. The first thing that came to my mind was IYO SKY jumping off the cage/ WarGames structure inside the trash can, which could be a huge leap (Pun Intended) but with trash cans being a staple in hardcore matches for the series it’s hard to think of something else that stands out so clear. I would love to see some sort of Finisher or OMG style moment that see’s IYO somehow climb to the top and crush opponents and tag partners alike as she hits the mat.
One other theory I had was maybe it could be hinting at updated weapon animations or new ways to use trash cans in matches? Let me know in the comments below, maybe I’m missing some glaring obvious thing.
Sticking with my theme of confusion, we see a six pack and I dare say we can rule out Stone Cold with him being featured elsewhere in the teaser, so the only other thing that comes to mind is a six pack challenge match. Six pack challenge matches are technically already in the game, so playing Devil’s advocate this could be another tease for the CM Punk showcase mode.
Punk has previously appeared in said match, with Punk competing way back in 2012 alongside R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho on Monday Night RAW. Now you might be thinking, Jericho and Dolph aren’t signed with WWE so what gives? Last year as part of WWE 2K25 Billy Gunn made his return to the series even though he was under contract with AEW so it does open up the door for what used to be perceived as the impossible.
WWE currently has a great working relationship with TNA where Dolph is currently signed so I wouldn’t be too surprised if we did see Dolph return, especially seeing as though Dolph returned to WWE TV last year as part of Cena’s retirement run.
Chris Jericho on the other hand is currently a free agent after departing AEW, with rumours even suggesting that Jericho may return to WWE this weekend as part of the Royal Rumble. Who knows maybe WWE and 2K snatched up Jericho the moment his contract was up, meaning anything is possible.
Just above the pack of cans we see a miniature dumpster which surely has to be the debut of the dumpster match in the 2K Series surely?. Most recently Chelsea Green and Michin competed in a Dumpster match on SmackDown, so it would be awesome to replicate that within the game. I imagine that Dumpster matches will work similar to that of Casket matches as almost a reskin to the existing mini-game matchup. I hope it’s not as straight forward as that with Dumpster matches having their own spin on the match, hopefully with a comedic victory scene to boot.
To the right of the dumpster we see three candles and if I’m completely honest I find these just as puzzling as the trash can. I’ve seen people online speculate that it could be a reference to the rumoured return of the three stages of hell match, but that seems a bit of a stretch and I think there would be a better way to tease and represent that. I’ve seen people also speculate that it could be a nod to Gangrel or even Aleister Black but even those don’t fill me with a lot of confidence. Let me know in the comments below what you think because I wouldn’t want to stake a claim in something I’m not 100% on. The only slight thing I could guess is that the candles might pair with the item to the right of the candles, the WrestleMania tombstone.
The tombstone depicts the WrestleMania 29 logo which also seems to once again tease the CM Punk showcase. CM Punk and The Undertaker faced off at the showcase of the immortals back in 2013, with Punk falling victim to the WrestleMania streak and the Deadman. This would be an absolute given for the showcase match list and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is even a rewrite history matchup with Punk being the one to defeat the streak.
Finally in a slight sneak peek, just above the tombstone we can just make out a logo or design which seems to tease yet another AAA Superstar. After doing a bunch of research online, it looks as though the design on the poster lines up with AAA superstar La Parker as part of his Mexican attire. La Parker is a huge fan favourite and staple in AAA so it would be awesome to see him make his debut in the WWE 2K series (that still seems so crazy to say). Not only would it bring further representation but it would also pad out the roster for AAA with Mr. Iguana teased yesterday. I’m really hoping that if this is indeed true that we also see some female representation from AAA with the likes of WWE’s Chelsea Green, Natalya and Lola Vice facing off against their roster.
So that’s our latest theories and predictions based off the second round of WWE 2K26 teases, let us know in the comments below what you think and what you think the teases could mean for this year’s game. More teases are expected within the coming days so be sure to return to see who and what is teased next.
Until Next Time, I’ve been the Revelleution.
