In what was once an annual tradition post WrestleMania, several female superstars have been released from WWE with several reports indicating that the cuts came from TKO and not Stamford as with previous releases.
Amongst the releases were Kairi Sane, Zelina Vega, Nikki Cross, Zoey Stark, Alba Fyre, Tyra Mae Steele, Sirena Linton. Releases are never fun especially when it comes to the Female Superstars as there is always room for WWE to improve how it showcases their female talent.
WrestleMania week is always a huge celebration of the world of Wrestling both in and out of WWE so it’s always such a stinger to have that momentum soured as we enter a brand new Season in WWE.
Of all of the releases Kairi Sane comes as the biggest surprise, with Kairi seemingly headed for a face turn after being berated for months on end by fellow Kabuki Warrior and mentor Asuka. In recent weeks IYO SKY has attempted to aid her former friend, with the angle even being featured as early as this past Monday on RAW. It seems as though fans aren’t taking the news lightly with Kairi still trending this Morning on X.
In recent weeks it was reported that Zoey Stark would soon be returning to the ring after falling victim to an injury back in May 2025 which resulted in a ACL, MCL, and meniscus. There is some seriously untapped potential when it comes to Stark and we hope she finally gets the spotlight she deserves wherever she lands next.
We could spend hours defending why none of the women listed above should have been released and we only hope this isn’t the end to their wrestling careers as they still have so much to offer to the world of Wrestling. As always we wish all of them nothing but the best and hope that the WWE universe continues to support them all wherever and whatever they do next.
