Hey and Welcome back to the Revelleution and a Brand New WWE 2K26 Feature, as earlier today 2K teased some upcoming news for WWE 2K26 with a possible hint at a returning Female Superstar,a Highly requested clothing item, returning match types and more.
To be sure you don’t miss out on any of our upcoming content, be sure to check back as we break down 2K’s latest WWE 2K26 Teases.
In Previous years 2K have teased their DLC content with an easter egg style map hinting at various Superstars set to join the 2K series post game release. Earlier today however 2K seemingly flipped the tease on its head with what looks to be daily puzzle piece style tease featuring updates to this year’s base game. Before we dive in I just want to say that these are just my theories on what each picture or item could be so don’t take it as fact and let me know what you think each item could mean.

First up right bang in the middle we can see an Iguana perched on a tree which has got to be a reference to AAA Superstar Mr. Iguana. The most surprising thing about this tease is that I would have imagined that Mr. Iguana would have been part of this year’s DLC so to see him teased here for what seems to be the base game is a huge surprise. Due to this it also possibly teases other AAA superstars and maybe even a AAA arena which would be super cool to play around with. In previous year’s MyRise has featured a custom Lucha promotion so it would be awesome to see AAA step into that role now that it falls under WWE’s umbrella. I’m also really intrigued to see how Mr Iguana’s moveset works especially when you throw in La Yesca, who knows maybe we will even get Finn Balor’s Demonito puppet to counteract La Yesca. I’ll even throw a wild one out there and say I’d like to see Alexa get some form of alt accessory to allow her to compete with Lilly in some crazed AAA crossover.

Right next to the framed Iguana we can see a Calendar with January 30th 2026 teasing a draft. Like with many of these teases this tease can be open to interpretation with many possible outcomes. The first thing that sprung to mind for me personally was a roster reveal in a similar style to the WWE draft. Now it might be somewhat of a stretch and a tad earlier than previous years reveals but I would love to see a new take on how the roster is revealed so why not have it in the style of old WWE drafts back in the day.
If not, maybe it could be a tease to how WWE Drafts work in the many game modes going forward like GM Mode or even the draft being included in Universe Mode which fans have asked for in recent years.

Sticking to the left hand side of the image slightly above the calendar we can see a vanity mirror which no doubt hints at Blake Monroe joining the WWE 2K Series. Like Jade Cargill before her, this would mark Blake’s switch from AEW to the WWE 2K Series with the vanity mirror teasing Blake’s iconic entrance. Like Mr. Iguana I actually wouldn’t have been too surprised to see Blake added into the game as DLC, so to also see her teased here too is quite surprising. Maybe I’m completely wrong and the reveal features both DLC and Base game but regardless I can’t wait to see how Blake looks in WWE 2K26.

Just below the Vanity mirror our next tease is a ……shopping cart. Now unless this is some obscure way of saying there will be improvements to the WWE Store in-game (which I highly doubt) this tease has to no doubt be the return of the shopping cart weapon. A shopping cart was last available as a weapon way back in Here Comes the Pain in 2003 and If I had to guess, I imagine it will work similar to how WWE moveable crates worked in previous WWE 2K Games. If this is true, I would love to see the option to take a shopping trolley full of weapons down to the ring similar to that of new Jack’s entrance in WWE 2K25 which allowed him to take a trash can full of weapons to the ring.

Below the shopping cart our next tease comes in the form of a retro WWE Microphone. Due to microphones already being available in the game, I have to imagine that the microphone hints to the return of ‘I Quit’ matches which haven’t been in the series for over a decade, last appearing in WWE 2K14. To add to this theory there are also VHS tapes elsewhere on the teaser imagine with one of the recorded matches being an I Quit match between John Cena and Randy Orton at Breaking Point. You can never have too many match styles and with I quit matches still happening to this day in WWE, why not have them return to the series in another way to pummel your foe.

Going back to the VHS tapes it seems our latest tease hints at what could be the theme for this year’s Showcase mode. Aside from the Breaking Point match(we’ll get back to that), all events in the collection feature the rumoured Cover Star for this year’s game CM Punk.
Amongst the events and matches listed are:
- The WrestleMania 41 triple threat match between CM Punk, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns which saw Punk take part in his first ever WrestleMania Main Event.
- Wrestlepalooza 2025 which saw CM Punk team with the returning AJ Lee against Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
- Night of Champions, which could relate to the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2025 edition which saw Punk and Cena face off for the Undisputed WWE Championship. If not Punk also faced Cena back at Night of Champions 2012 which ended in a draw.
- Clash at the Castle which although hidden could hint to the 2024 matchup between Damian Priest and Drew McIntrye, where CM Punk acted as special guest referee.
- Finally the Cena Vs Orton ‘I Quit’ match from Breaking Point 2009.
Going back to the Cena and Orton match, I imagine this match will be included alongside the Punk and Undertaker Submission match as a way to show off the new game mode like prior Showcase modes in the series. The Night of Champions match up between Punk and Cena could also act as a rewrite History type match up, with players being able to change fate and have Punk walk out champ like last year’s Showcase mode which featured the Bloodline.
Having the possible tease of AJ Lee in the Mixed Tag Team match at Wrestlepalooza is mindblowing to me as I honestly thought AJ Lee would be a pre-order bonus if anything but to see her teased here surely means she has to be in the base game? AJ Lee last appeared a decade ago as part of WWE 2K15 so I honestly can’t wait to see what a modern day version of AJ looks like, hopefully with a bunch of retro models thrown in here and there.

Slightly to the side of the stack of VHS is something that has me quite excited if it is indeed what I think it is….thumbtacks. 2K haven’t brought much light to these compared to the other teases so I really hope i’m not reading too much into these. With the announcement of the Attitude Era version of WWE 2K26, what better way to represent that era than with the return of the beloved thumbtacks which were a huge staple of the attitude era hardcore matches. Thumbtacks last appeared in SmackDown Vs RAW 2009 so I honestly hope this is correct as they add such a different element to hardcore matches. One of my favourite things about AEW’s Fight Forever was having the ability to bust open my opponents with thumbtacks so I can’t wait to see 2K’s revival on them.

Last and certainly by no means least, saving the best for last we have what looks to be teased updates to the WWE 2K26 Creation suite. Initially I had thought that the items could be there to represent WWE Superstars with the boots possibly representing Torrie Wilson or Melina. When it comes to the hair consider me stumped which is when I then realised that the boxes look similar to that of the WWE Creation Suite.
For years fans have begged for 2K to include fur boots to the women’s creation suite so this looks like a direct response to those requests. Hopefully there is more than one addition to the game but finally having at least one variant will tide me over for the time being.
When it comes to the hair image it could mean multiple things with the first idea coming to mind being a much needed update to the hair dye tool feature. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve seen a lot worse when it comes to dyeing tools in games but there are countless updates and upgrades that could be applied to make it even better.
The other idea was could it be possibly hinting at the addition of the double wig feature that modders have implemented in recent years. The modding of the hairstyles proved super popular amongst fans until it was patched later down the line much to dismay. It could be a long shot but I for one would love to see 2K implement their own version of the idea with it creating countless alternatives to old classics.
So that’s our roundup of today’s WWE 2K26 Teasers, be sure to let us know in the comments down below what you make of the teasers and what you think they mean. Remember this is all just a bit of fun and at the moment none of us can be 100% sure what they mean or represent.
Be sure to stay up to date by returning here to see what teases we get next.
Until Next Time, I’ve been the Revelleution.
