King and Queen of the Ring is just a few short hours away and for the first time in a long time the Royal Tournament has felt bigger and better than ever.
In 2021 Zelina Vega became the very female competitor to be officially crowned Queen of the Ring which reinvigorated Vega’s career and gimmick. In 2024 the Queen of the Ring tournament has had much more admiration with iconic matches and competitors battling it out to be crowned Queen of the Ring.
Later tonight Nia Jax and Lyra Valkyria square off in the Tournament finals with a future title shot at SummerSlam up for grabs alongside the crown.
Speaking of Championship Gold after weeks of back and forth action Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan look to finally settle the score as Liv Morgan attempts to dethrone Becky on the Liv Morgan ‘Revenege Tour’.
Also after a shock loss to Nia Jax on last night’s SmackDown, Bianca Belair looks to bounce back with friend Jade Cargill as they defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.
With not only a crown and title opportunity on the line as well as Championship Gold who will leave King and Queen of the Ring 2024 with the ultimate bragging rights? It’s time for our King and Queen of the Ring PPV Predictions:

Elle: Funnily enough earlier this week I predicted this match might happen, because let’s face it, how can you have a prestigious WWE event without two of WWE’s biggest stars Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair. Candice LeRae has really shone both in and out of the ring, digging back into her heel roots with Indi also finally giving into her dark side. Ideally I would love to see Indi and Candice pick up Championship gold but Jade and Bianca are killing it as a tag team and I imagine this will just be one of the many victories for them holding the gold. Prediction: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill
Adam: It was surprising that a match with Belair and Cargill was left until the last minute to announce for the show, considering how both women have been front and center on the poster for the event. In any event, with the rush to make this match from Smackdown it seems obvious who will win this match. A showcase first defence for the power duo. Prediction: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill

Elle: I’m so glad that Liv has finally turned heel because I personally feel Liv works so much better as a heel and overall it seems to fit her attire style so much better too but that’s just me. Weirdly enough I almost feel like if Liv was to pick up the win tonight, it wouldn’t work as well compared to if you let Becky get the win to further piss of Liv and lead to a full on badass bitch heel turn for Liv. I imagine Liv will gain the gold sooner rather than later but if it was me, I would drag it out a little more to make it more passionate and fiery with Liv resorting to real dirty tactics. Prediction: Becky Lynch
Adam: I’ve been enjoying Liv’s heel work that has been working very well, turning her legit anger about what’s happened to her and using it as motivation. I could see this match going either way and a rematch happening either at Clash at the Castle or Money in the Bank. Perhaps therefore Becky retains but with a controversial finish to allow more fuel for a rematch down the road. It should make for a good match either way! Prediction: Becky Lynch

Elle: I have to admit it, I’ve been totally blown away by how well this tournament and it’s matches have played out. Every step of the tournament has brought out fresh and iconic matches between the Women of SmackDown and RAW and I only hope future iterations are just as impactful and fun. Call me a fool but I honestly didn’t think WWE would pull the gun on a Lyra push this early but I absolutely love it as a big fan of Lyra. A shock win over one of WWE’s biggest stars would be a huge victory for Lyra with or without the title of Queen of the Ring. Although I love Lyra, Nia has to win if she isn’t going to hold Championship Gold at this point, like Lyra Nia has been killing it on the main roster and I can’t wait to see how much a pain in the ass Queen of the Ring makes her. Prediction: Nia Jax
Adam: Well, Valkyria had a good run. Jokes aside, with how much the WWE loves to push Jax giving her the Queen of the Ring honour gives her an accomplishment but keeps her away from a Championship. Hopefully Valkyria’s moment won’t be hurt too much from a loss, and perhaps she’ll keep things moving being involved in the Lynch-Morgan feud as it continues on. Prediction: Nia Jax
