Earlier today WWE confirmed the unfortunate news that Santana Garrett has been released from WWE alongside fellow female Superstars Ruby Riott and Lana.
Garrett signed with WWE back in 2019 primarily being used as enhancement talent in NXT as well as providing motion capture for the WWE 2K Video game series. Santana most recently made an appearance in the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match entering at spot number 12 before being eliminated by Rhea Ripley.
In recent months it was rumoured that Santana had been called up to main roster and was initially penned in to become a member of the SmackDown Women’s roster. Keeping it short and sweet, Santana took to social media to thank WWE:
Thank you, @wwe 🙏❤️✨

Prior to her WWE run, Santana had a reputation as being somewhat of a veteran on the women’s independent scene so we have absolutely no doubt that she will kill it wherever she goes.
