It’s being reported that top Japanese wrestler and veteran MEIKO SATOMURA will be joining the NXT UK Performance Center as a coach in November.
Tokyo Sports is reporting that Satomura will take on a player coach role in NXT UK next month, which could be in time for new NXT UK TV tapings. Satomura also announced today that she is “limiting” appearences for her home promotion Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling.
Satomura had a strong run in the 2018 Mae Young Classic with victories over Killer Kelly, Mercedes Martinez and Kayden Carter (then Lacey Lane) before losing in the semi finals to eventual winner Toni Storm. Satomura has held numerous titles over her long career including being a former World of Stardom Champion in Stardom, a former Progress World Women’s Champion and winning the wXw Femmes Fatale Tournament in 2018.
