Night of Champions is almost upon us and for us lucky fans accross the pond we’re once again celebrating all things WWE at a reasonable hour!
With Championship gold on the line for the Champions of WWE, both Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley look set to put their respective titles on the line as they attempt to leave the Kingdom of Saudi with their championships and bragging rights in check. Will Ripley and Belair manage to leave with gold aroung their waists or will Natalya and Asuka usher in a new era as their rivals?
Whilst all that glitters might be gold, Becky Lynch looks to put her reputation on the line as she faces off against former friend and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in a grudge match for the ages. Will ‘The Man’ send Trish packing or will Trish get the last laugh and give the WWE Universe a slice of Stratusfaction? It’s time to weigh in with our WWE Night of Champions 2023 PPV Predictions:

Elle: Well I didn’t expect Asuka to be Bianca’s first title feud on SmackDown but here we are. Thankfully there is a bit more grit this time around for Belair and Asuka but I still can’t help but feel like the feud hasn’t reach it’s true potential. After Asuka’s constant upperhand and sneak tactics I imagine tonight will see Bianca finally get the last laugh.
What I will say is that I feel like we need a shift with Belairs character, it doesn’t have to be switching to a heel but I feel like there needs to be some sort of rebrand or next step in the evolution of Bianca. Prediction: Bianca Belair
Adam (TheInsanityInc): An unexpected rematch but still a welcome one with how good their clash was at WrestleMania. This one having a bit more edge with the sneak attacks and misting in the run-up, so perhaps this might be even better than the first round. Despite all of that, I think the result will be the same as the never-ending Belair title reign will continue for now. Prediction: Bianca Belair

Elle: Like with the Bianca and Asuka feud I really do believe that there is some true untapped potential in a Rhea and Natalya feud. Unfortunately this feud feels as though Natalya was thrown into the mix because Natalya is a reliable workhorse and absolute legend. Earlier in the week we saw a different side of Natalya cutting a promo on being overlooked and maybe somewhat unapreciated but it came from the heart and I personally would love to see more of that from Nattie. I have no doubt that Rhea and Nattie will put on a great match it’s just a shame there wasn’t more of a story to match what will likely be a great square off. Prediction: Rhea Ripley
Adam: A shame that there’s been so little build up to this match, but that’s maybe a sign of how this is a slapped together match just for the sake of featuring the title on the card. The two talented Superstars should still put together a fine match if they get the time. I can’t see any upset happening here, especially with the lack of hype going into this one. So chalk another one up for Ripley as we head closer towards Summerslam. Prediction: Rhea Ripley

Elle: Both Trish and Becky have been absolutely killing it in recent weeks with their promos and skits and I’m so glad we’re finally getting to see a heel Trish again in WWE. Every inch of me is praying this isn’t the final outing for the duo with a match in the future scheduled for SummerSlam at the very earliest. Becky has been promising to pummel Trish after bringing up her daughter and whilst I’m sure Becky will give Trish one hell of a beating, i’m guessing Trish might resort to some oldschool heel tactics to pull off the shock win over ‘The Man’. Prediction: Trish Stratus
Adam: A tough one to call just because if this feud is going to end, then clearly Lynch would be going over but if it’s carrying on then Stratus would steal a win to set up a rematch far later down the line. I’m certainly looking forward to this as Trish still has some good bouts left in her and one of them should be this contest against the always-delivering Lynch. I’ll side with Lynch getting the win here and perhaps moving on to a big title match at SummerSlam but I wouldn’t be mad if I was wrong about not just the outcome here, but the feud not ending. Prediction: Becky Lynch
