A new day is dawning in WWE with the return of live crowds and the fan favourite PPV Money in the Bank just a few short hours away. Later tonight the Men and Women of WWE will put their bodies on the line in a bid to secure the infamous Money in the Bank briefcase.
As Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Nikki A.S.H (Cross), Natalya, Tamina, Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega set their sights on the opportunity of a lifetime with the Money in the Bank Briefcase; Charlotte Flair looks to capture the RAW Women’s Championship from long-time rival Rhea Ripley.
With so much on the line, who will come out on top in a night full of opportunities? It’s time for our Money in the Bank PPV Predictions:
Raw Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair Vs Rhea Ripley
Elle: I have to say I’ve actually really enjoyed this back and forth rivalry between Rhea and Charlotte, especially the last few weeks. Having both Flair and Ripley resort to heel tactics is something we haven’t seen in WWE for quite some time and I personally can’t get enough of it. I will say for all I am really enjoying the feud I think it’s time to move on especially now that we have the crowds back and start a brand anew for the remainder of 2021 and beyond. I say give Rhea the chance to shine her brightest and retain for the coming weeks, Charlotte undoubtedly has many more Championship reigns pencilled in her future. Prediction: Rhea Ripley.
Adam(TheInsanityInc): Well, this one could go a lot of ways depending on both who wins the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and as well as plans for SummerSlam up ahead. Do they have a returning major face lined up to dethrone a possible new champ in Flair? Will they screw over both Flair and Ripley with a cash-in on the same night as historically has happened? Or will they (and to be honest, let’s hope not) drag out this feud for yet another month until SummerSlam? A lot of possibilities here but one thing is for sure. The last thing the WWE and the fans need is suffering through more insufferable Flair heels promos as she brags about being the champion again. Ripley has earned her spot, and deserves a legit victory over Flair at long last. Prediction: Rhea Ripley
Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Elle: Really really torn on this match up I have to say. With so many talented women in the mix any of the eight women could easily come out on top and any one of them could probably make a good run of it. I personally think it probably comes down to three Women, Nikki A.S.H, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan.
Liv Morgan is more than overdue a title reign in WWE and Nikki A.S.H would be an awesome pick for a win to say the least but I kind of want Alexa to win I have to say. A lot of people will argue that Alexa doesn’t need another Money in the Bank win but after her hard work over the pandemic and her unique gimmick I would absolutely love to see what Bliss would do with the opportunity. Prediction: Alexa Bliss
Adam: To me, the build around the match has put all the momentum squarely behind Liv Morgan and barely anyone else. The Raw side of things has been engaged with other stories and trying to get Nikki ASH’s new gimmick over. Meanwhile, Morgan has been picking up serious wins and moments on a brand where women have been handed their spots and rushed into filling up the numbers (like the tag champs have been). So I would be very surprised if anyone else gets the briefcase in this one, but you never know with the WWE. They do find new ways to frustrate us! Prediction: Liv Morgan
