NWA is set to make history later this evening with their first ever all women’s PPV EmPowerrr, with women from all different promotions and around the globe set to compete in one historic night!
The announcement was made back in June earlier this year by former WWE & IMPACT Wrestling Superstar Mickie James, when she revealed that NWA would be putting women’s wrestling in the forefront as part of an unforgettable first.
Following the announcement the women’s wrestling scene has been abuzz with women from IMPACT Wrestling, AAA and AEW all stepping up to make the event a must watch for fans of women’s wrestling. Earlier this month NWA owner Billy Corgan revealed that he had managed to obtain the original NWA Women’s Championship of the late great Mildred Burke and the title will be displayed later this evening as part of the event.
The special set to air later this evening will feature a total of nine confirmed women’s wrestling matches including a must see Knockout’s Championship match between Melina and Deonna Purrazzo as well as the NWA Women’s Championship match between Kamille and Leyla Hirsch.
