Last week on SmackDown the men and women of WWE took part in opening rounds of this year’s WWE Draft with several superstars switching the brands including the current RAW Women’s Champion and the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
In the opening round of night one of the draft, current RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair became the first female superstar to be drafted as part of a pick for Friday Night SmackDown, with the former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair being pegged for Monday Night RAW.
With no female superstars drafted in round three of the draft picks, the current Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki A.S.H and Rhea Ripley would be the next female superstars to be drafted with the pair being assigned to Monday Night RAW.
Round 3 would also see the surprise draft of B-FAB and Hit Row to Friday Night SmackDown in a move that will surely shake up Friday nights going forward. In recent weeks Naomi has been trying her best to compete on the blue brand much to the annoyance of Sonya Deville but it looks as though Sonya will have to put up and shut up as Naomi was drafted to SmackDown in round four of the draft.
With several draft picks already made and many superstars still unofficially assigned a brand it was up Talking Smack to continue this year’s draft with several female superstars making the jump to Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown.
With Monday Night RAW already picking up Bianca Belair, Nikki A.S.H and Rhea Ripley the red brand would also acquire another three female superstars in the form of Duodrop, Nia Jax and Zelina Vega.
Like Monday Night RAW, Friday Night SmackDown acquired it’s fair share of badass women with Naomi, Charlotte Flair and B-FAB drafted in the initial picks. If SmackDown wasn’t stacked enough it was revealed that both Aliyah and Toni Storm will officially reside on the blue brand making in a huge step for Aliyah.
