After a 30 year absence we finally have another WWE PPV here in the UK and I can’t wait to get this Welsh party started.
Later tonight the men and women look to put on one banger of a show for the Welsh crowd as a new era of WWE continues on a week to week high with new storylines, better and longer matches and the promise of never before seen possibilities.
On the RAW side of things Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss look to put a stop to the momentum of the recently returned Bayley, IYO Sky and Dakota Kai in what could be one all out brawl between all six women.
Elsewhere representing the blue brand Liv Morgan puts her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line as she goes toe to toe with the reinvigorated Shayna Baszler who looks to put an end to the fairy-tale recent successes of Liv Morgan. Will Morgan once again overcome the odds or will this new Era gear up a notch with Shayna Baszler at the helm? It’s time for our WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 PPV Predictions:
Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Alexa Bliss, Asuka & Bianca Belair Vs Bayley, Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky
Elle: Well how the times have changed, to think just a few short months ago Dakota Kai had ended her run with WWE and the formerly named Shirai seemed to destined to depart WWE too. Fastforward to today and we have some of the most rejuvenated wrestling today with the unlikely trio of Bayley, Sky and Kai now gunning to be the head of the Women’s division. Seeing as Kai and Sky missed out on the Women’s tag team championships this past Monday ( due to some shenanigans) the win tonight can only rectify their momentum and set the Bayley crew on the right course to dominate the entire women’s division. Prediction: Bayley, Dakota Kai & IYO Sky
Adam(TheInsanityInc): A nicely packed match full of talent and we can’t even be mad that Belair isn’t defending her title on this show. I think the result seems a bit obvious here but a little more so now that Kai and Sky didn’t get the tag titles this week. The ball will keep rolling with Bayley’s crew aiming to get control of the women’s division. Let’s hope the women get some good time to put on a great match with all the talent that’s available here. Prediction: Bayley, Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky
Smackdown Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan Vs Shayna Baszler
Elle: How I have missed this version of Shayna Baszler! This is the Shayna that should have been on the main roster the last few years and I’m just glad she seems to be back on track after far too long. While I don’t see Liv dropping the belt here tonight I don’t imagine Shayna will take a clean pin with Liv somehow once again overcoming the seemingly unbeatable odds. Prediction: Liv Morgan
Adam: Liv Morgan emerging with a title reign was not something I had on my 2022 bingo card, but we are in a new era. The hurt arm storyline has been fun to give Morgan the plucky underdog feel even if we already had that in the match against Rousey at SummerSlam. I just don’t get the feeling that the WWE will be cutting down Morgan’s reign just yet though, but this match should be an interesting clash of styles to make for a fun contest. Prediction: Liv Morgan
