Well this year’s WrestleMania will certainly go down in the books as being a night to remember for better or worse. With the worries of the outside world set to one side for a weekend full of Wrestling, WWE and its female superstars look set to put on ground-breaking matches with not a soul in sight.
Usually WWE go all out with fireworks, grand entrances and record breaking WWE Universe attendances but all that changes for WrestleMania 36 as WWE enter an unprecedented time. WrestleMania is almost here and one thing is for sure, it will be a night none of us will ever forget, with that in mind it’s time for our WRESTLEMANIA 36 PPV Predictions!

Preshow: Liv Morgan Vs Natalya
Elle: Well this one is a tad random but given what’s going on within WWE right now I’ll take what I can. Purely because this match doesn’t have any build or seemingly any relevance I could easily see this going either way but given Liv has had more spotlight than Natalya these last few months, I guess Liv might win? Prediction: Liv Morgan
Adam(TheInsanityInc): A random match but these are strange times. A toss up really but I’d lean towards Morgan since before the COVID-19 crisis she was getting a push so this might be a way to help spark that again as best the WWE can. Prediction: Liv Morgan

Women’s Tag Team Championships: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) Vs Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
Elle: If these last few weeks (or even months) have proven anything, it’s that Asuka is a godsend and far more comedic and charismatic that WWE gives her credit. Had this been any other PPV I could easily see the Kabuki Warriors retaining but given that it’s WrestleMania I wouldn’t be surprised to see Nikki and Alexa given that feel-good win. Really hoping I’m wrong on this one! Prediction: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
Adam: Asuka and Sane have been hilarious in their over the top, cocky ways for a long while. Bliss and Cross while they’ve been entertaining it still doesn’t quite click with the friendship aspect or seeing Bliss, who had been a heel for the longest time, now a full babyface. Personally I’d love to see the reign continue but something tells me the WWE will give Bliss another career boost with a title reign. Prediction: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross

NXT Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley Vs Charlotte Flair
Elle: If any WrestleMania feud has suffered thanks to the virus it was this one. On paper this was meant to be one hell of a feud and at the start it was, but unfortunately due to recent events this one has just had the wind taken right out of its sails regardless of the talent who are bound to put on a show for the fans. Purely because Charlotte doesn’t need the win here over Rhea, I definitely see Ripley getting one over on the Queen to give her momentum post Mania. Prediction: Rhea Ripley
Adam: What should have been a grandstand, breakout moment for Ripley denied by events out of her and the world’s control. I have no doubt this will be a sleeper match that could steal the show, but for me the result is in no doubt. Flair doesn’t need this reign, but the win would do wonders for Ripley and surefire ticket to the main roster sooner rather than later. This should be a great one. Prediction: Rhea Ripley

Smackdown Women’s Championship – Fatal Five Way Elimination Match: Bayley Vs Lacey Evans Vs Naomi Vs Sasha Banks Vs Tamina
Elle: For weeks now WWE have been teasing back and forth about the breakup of Sasha and Bayley but given that Mandy and Sonya have seemingly fallen out I can’t see WWE breaking up two teams in a matter of days. If anything I expect the teasing to ramp up a little with maybe an altercation between the two leading to an elimination to then revisit down the road once WWE can put on their usual show. Given that it’s WrestleMania I wouldn’t be surprised to see a shock wildcard victory with Lacey Evans picking up the win after winning over the WWE Universe and getting the last laugh against rivals Bayley and Sasha. Prediction: Lacey Evans
Adam: I always lower my expectations with multi-women matches and I fully expect random, fast paced eliminations in this one. The question will be if the WWE decides to have Banks or Bayley stab one another in the back to steal the title, or if it ends up costing them both the victory. I feel solely because only Tamina, who would be a real wild card winner, has been built the strongest that the champ will somehow sneak out still the champion. Prediction: Bayley

Raw Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch Vs Shayna Baszler
Elle: Like every match on the card I honestly feel like the ongoing situation has heavily changed any initial outcome with it comes to championship matches especially. Had this match been taking place as initially planned with a live audience I definitely would have predicted a clear victory for Baszler but due to the fact that WWE are operating with no audience for the foreseeable future I don’t see them dethroning their promo engine Lynch. Lynch has proved over the last few weeks that she doesn’t need a crowd to still entertain but Baszler on the other hand may not come across as well with no crowd to play off. I have no doubt that Baszler’s time as RAW Women’s Champion will come soon but until the world gets back on course I don’t see WWE fixing something that isn’t broken. Prediction: Becky Lynch
Adam: The real test will be if Baszler’s style which worked so well in NXT can translate to a a WWE Pay Per View and sadly I have my doubts that it will. The WWE has built her strongly but with Lynch being so wildly popular and deservedly on top since Becky 2 Belts last year, surely it would be madness to have her drop the title especially in such fanless circumstances. Then again, this is the WWE where we all know anything can happen. I’m hoping that we won’t see the shock upset however and The Man stays on top. Prediction: Becky Lynch
